Hankasalmi Museum Village is a unique example of an open-air museum, which has a collection of 12 log buildings of the 19th century preserved in a good condition. All these building were moved to the museum area from various places in Hankasalmi. Every summer this museum is open to public. While visiting it during a guided tour, you get insights into the life and work of Finnish people in the 19th century.
