Whether you know Karstula already or visit Karstula by coincidence you will like what you see and feel. The overall feeling in this small town is laid-back and easy-going.

For accommodation there are many opportunities. If you’re looking for action or activities in nature you can visit Kirkkovuori Nature Observation Tower or play frisbeegolf. The longest rapids in Central Finland called Heijostenkosket are partly located in Karstula. The rapids are a good place to try fly fishing or canoeing but you can also try a rafting safari if you dare! Mushroom hunting and berrypicking are nice way to enjoy nature. Snowshoeing, skiing and snowmobile safaris are ideal for the winter.
