If you enjoy hiking, Central Finland is the region to explore. There are five national parks (out of 38 national parks in Finland) and dozens of nature trails to wander on. All the national parks have well-kept tracks and guidance marks to follow, so you will not get lost. If you have never done hiking in Finnish forests before and the idea of doing it on your own sounds rather challenging, you can join one of the guided tours by Erävaris.
