Finland has seven UNESCO World Heritage sites, two of which are located in Central Finland. The old wooden church of Petäjävesi, built in 1763-65, and Oravivuori Triangulation Tower, which belongs to Struve Geodetic Arc, are impressive examples of architecture and scientific research of the past centuries. Both sites are open for public.
